FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS Why would I contact you rather than my normal vet? We certainly are not aiming to replace the local veterinary practices and we will advise you to seek their services as soon as it becomes obvious that we will not be able to deal with your problem adequately. However, there will often be times when we can save you the time, money and stress of having to take your pet into the veterinary practice. Often, in a non-critical situation a online conversation will deal with your questions and help you decide what course to take with your pet's health. We may also be able to give you some tips on how to make the most of the visit to the vet if you do end up needing to go. Which animals can I ask advice about? You can ask advice about any pet as all out vets are both trained and have experience with all types of animal. We do, however, have most experience in dealing with dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea-pigs and hamsters. What questions can I ask? We will deal with ANY questions regarding animal health or behavioural problems. What should I do in an emergency? If you are sure your animal needs veterinary attention immediately then you should contact your local veterinary surgery immediately so that your pet's life is not in danger. If you are not sure and want help deciding send a request for a call back and mark the request 'urgent'. How long will I wait for an answer? Online chats allow you to talk immediately with a veterinary surgeon. What should I do if I am not happy with service I receive? In the unlikely event that you are not entirely happy with the service, you should complain firstly to the veterinary surgeon who has dealt with your question. The veterinary director will automatically be made aware of this complaint too. If you are still not happy the complaint has been resolved the veterinary director will contact you. All our services come with a money
back guarantee if we are unable to resolve your complaint. |
